Spring Women’s Wellness Retreat:

East Fork, Carson River

What to Expect

A taste of adventure.

The Carson River Women’s Wellness Retreat is a beginner-friendly women’s wellness retreat featuring rustic accomodations, gentle rafting, overnight camping, and healing hot springs—no experience required, just a willingness to slow down and connect.

We blend guided moments, open exploration, and space to reflect—so the experience feels both focused and fluid.

❋ Intentional Structure and Fun

Connection is a core part of the fun. You’ll learn just as much from the group as from the content itself.

❋ Collaborative Energy

Led by experienced guides who know how to hold space, encourage participation, and keep things moving with purpose.

❋ Therapist Led

Our events prioritize respect, safety, and inclusivity—so you can slow down, reconnect, and return to yourself.

❋ A Supportive Space

If you’ve ever thought, “I’d love to do that, but I don’t know how…” this retreat is for you.

Saturday, May 2nd

Day Two

After breakfast and morning movement, we meet our guides from Tributary Whitewater Tours for a guided rafting journey down the East Fork of the Carson River. Expect a mix of gentle rapids, calm stretches, riverside lunch, and rotating team leadership.

By late afternoon, we’ll arrive at our riverside camp and natural hot springs. Soak, swim, relax, and unwind. The evening brings appetizers, dinner, and a fireside gathering under the stars—connection, music, and shared celebration.

Day Three

Rally & Celebrate

Sunday, May 3rd

We’ll rise early, break camp together, and paddle our final stretch of river. After take-out near Gardnerville, we’ll return to Markleville and close the weekend with a celebration dinner at at Cutthroat Tavern (cost not included).

Meet your facilitators:

Rebecca Truitt

Rebecca lives in Tucson, Arizona, where she works as a surface water quality environmental scientist. Her adventurous spirit was nurtured from a young age by her mother, a science teacher, who instilled in her the principles of environmental stewardship and reciprocity. Some of Rebecca's most cherished memories involve getting her hands dirty while conducting stream surveys, attending science camps, and volunteering for ecological restoration projects. These experiences taught her the value of creative, hands-on community engagement as a powerful tool for environmental education. Today, she is passionate about ecology and finds joy in hiking desert landscapes, identifying native plants, and gardening.

Symbria Coultas

Symbria currently leads retreats and nature-based workshops that invite participants to step outside, move, and reconnect. She is a therapist and mindfulness instructor with over 14 years of experience in the mental health field, holding a BA in Buddhist psychology, master’s degrees in wilderness therapy and clinical psychology, and is currently working towards her PhD. Based in San Francisco, Symbria works with underserved families in community settings and county jails. Her approach is rooted in the belief that healing deepens through connection—to nature, the body, and the present moment. Outside of her work, she enjoys rock climbing, horseback riding, gardening, and adventuring to new places with her family.
